Mr. R.Rajasekar is presently working as the Director of Allied Atlantic Distilleries Ltd, Sango-Ota, Nigeria. Allied Atlantic Distilleries Ltd is the largest producer of ethanol from fresh cassava tuber in Africa and the first ethanol manufacturer in Nigeria. He has been with the company since 2007 in Nigeria and has served the group companies in different positions before his current position as Director. Prior to his present assignment in Nigeria, he worked in the agric sector with several blue chip companies in India. Mr.Rajasekar took up his assignment as agric researcher in UPASI Tea Research Institute and followed by serving more than three decades in commercial agribusiness and supply chain management with various giant agric industries like Pallonji Mistry Group, Birla Group, JK Corporation and Ballarpur Industries. His specialties include out grower’s program, extension services, agric raw materials, supply chain management and plantation management. He obtained his masters degree in plant science with university rank in the year 1983 from Annamalai University in India. He is a member to several professional bodies including the International Society of Tropical Root Crops and published several research articles.
