Joost W. van Odijk worked the first 10 years of his career for Unilever and Pepsico in various Marketing & Sales positions. Since then, he has been active as an entrepreneur and consultant in technology, food and change management.

In 2010 he was able to acquire the eFresh portal and start rebuilding it from the ground up. The company is striving to be the leading global, cooperative network in food & agriculture. eFresh.com supports farmers, governments and all stakeholders in the value chain to address food security in a sustainable and scalable manner. eFresh.com is represented with offices and a broad range of activities in India, China, US and Europe.

Joost has a Master’s degree in Business Economics and International management from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam.
