Dr Graham Hefer, who was born in Zambia, holds a PhD in Agriculture and has had more than 25 years’ experience in the agricultural sector, initially as a lecturer at the University of Natal in South Africa and then in the cotton industry in southern and central Africa.  He has for the past 9 years now been the Managing Director of Okomu Oil Palm Company Plc.  The Company is one of only two agribusiness companies registered on the Nigerian Stock Exchange and produces and processes both rubber and oil on 33,000ha in Edo State, Nigeria for export and local consumption, respectively.
