Alhaji Abdulkarim Kaita is currently the Supervising Director of the Dansa Unit of the Dangote Group. Danse is involved in cotton processing, Dansa juice and drinks, the Dansa pineapple plantation and processing facility, and the Tomato Plantation and processing. Alh. Kaita joined the Dangote Group in 1996 as an Associate General Manager (AGM) in the Cotton/Textile Business Unit. Prior to joining the Dangote Group, Alh. Kaita worked at the Nigerian Bank of Agriculture for over a decade and worked in the Ministry of Economic Planning for Kaduna State. He holds an MBA from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, a PG Dip, Urban planning from London School of Architecture and Urban Planning, and a BSc Geography from Bayero University, Kano, having attending Barewa College, Zaria.
